PRESS RELEASE – DoctorWine is adding a mobile APP to its communication channels: it will be available to users worldwide, in both Italian and English, for both iOS and Android devices. Downloadable for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the DoctorWine APP will allow users to take advantage of all the content in the Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy and the Eating and Sleeping Among the Vineyards guide.
In the section Essential Guide, the user will be able to discover the more than 1,200 wineries present for a total of 3,150 wines reviewed by Daniele Cernilli and his team of expert tasters, while in the section Eating and Sleeping Among the Vineyards will find the accommodations and services offered by the approximately 200 wineries reviewed with their geolocation, information on proposed initiatives, the possibility of booking a room, a restaurant or a tasting experience in the winery or among the vineyards. Of each winery the public will discover characteristics, awards, scores, be able to find the nearest ones within a 100km radius, view their location on the map, make contact with them and possibly purchase their wines with direct links to the winery shops.
“We have long wanted to dedicate an extra tool to our fans to reciprocate the trust and affection with which they have been following us in ever-increasing numbers for years ,” says Daniele Cernilli, founder of DoctorWine – and this seemed to us to be the most suitable and current solution. We believe we have created a pleasant and easy-to-interact product that makes usable with immediacy the great research work we do every year to enhance the best Italian wine production. A useful tool for the many wine lovers, but also for wineries that will find there a new direct channel of communication with their audience. We are also already working on further implementations to give the user the ability to customize the interface and make the in-depth experience more and more interesting both on wines already known and new ones to be discovered by allowing each person to create their own valuable tasting archive.”
DOCTORWINE is the independent network dedicated to information, education and dissemination of wine culture founded by Daniele Cernilli.
