15 Italian Regions and more than 530 Wineries involved for the big celebration of wine tourism. The most eagerly awaited weekend for wine lovers is coming up to kick off the celebration of 30 years of Movimento Turismo del Vino.
In more than 530 wineries in 15 Italian regions, everything is ready to kick off Cantine Aperte, the historic event signed by MTV that brings with it a calendar full of unmissable events on May 27 and 28.
A very special year that sees the Wine Tourism Movement blowing out 30 candles, celebrating 3 decades of wine tourism, stories of love for the land and passion for wine, values that have always distinguished what is now the reference community of wine tourism. An adventure that involves more and more wineries of the boot, united by the pleasure of hospitality and the desire to make an engaging and unforgettable experience, going against the increasingly evolved needs of the third millennium wine tourist.
“Over the years,” emphasizes Nicola D’Auria, President of the Italian Wine Tourism Movement, “we have realized the strong acceleration of the wine tourism phenomenon, especially in the post-pandemic years, which have seen a change in the physiognomy of the wine tourist and in parallel an evolution of the offer of our wineries. In fact, today’s wine tourist seeks an immersive experience, where the winery visit is integrated with cultural activities, contact with nature and moments of relaxation and fun related to all that the territory has to offer. As well as the attention paid to sustainability, an increasingly important parameter of choice, which the wineries are committed to respecting and publicizing every day.”
This edition of Cantine Aperte is as much about respect for the environment as it is about self-respect through responsible wine consumption. A very important message that the Movimento Turismo del Vino wants to spread to the public of wine lovers, thanks to the agreement with Unione italiana vini and Wine in Moderation. Topical and fundamentally important themes that MTV has always carried forward.
