Presented in Rome’s historic Palazzo Taverna is the new edition of the 2020 San Leonardo artist label, the iconic Trentino Bordeaux blend.
The new vintage debuts on international markets in March. Of the entire production of this precious wine from northern Italy, 999 0.75l bottles have been dressed with an artist label. This year the signature is by Linda Fregni Nagler, the protagonist of the third edition of the “Art in San Leonardo” project. Fregni Nagler created five original works inspired by as many objects in the company’s museum.
Among them, Anselmo Guerrieri Gonzaga and his wife Ilaria Tronchetti Provera, creators of the project, chose Leonardo da Vinci’s Colmatore for the artist label. Made in shades of gray, white, and silver, with an aesthetic reminiscent of ancient photographic negatives.
The title the artist wanted to give this third edition is Memories of Reliable Things and follows the The Revolution of Deep Time by Marzia Migliora (San Leonardo 2019) and Waiting is not wasted time by Simone Berti (San Leonardo 2018).

With San Leonardo 2020, the Trentino estate of Marchesi Guerrieri Gonzaga adds a new piece to its story by making a wine of great classicism.
