Villa Bucci

Ampelio Bucci is an institution in the world of Verdicchio.
After all, as the Latins used to say, nomen omen (in the name the destiny ed.), and àmpelos in Greek means vine.
For three decades it has been producing some of Italy’s best whites, thanks in part to the help-until his recent death-of Giorgio Grai, a very talented winemaker.
His Villa Bucci Riserva, in particular, is a true masterpiece and was “White Wine of the Year” for the 2017 edition of the guide.
