Syrah and Petit Verdot.
22 months in first- and second-passage French oak tonneaux.
Highly celebrated vintage, with long ripening process and slightly delayed, somewhat cooler harvest. Ruby garnet. Explosive bouquet, very intense with prominent fruit notes, currant, pomegranate, very fresh fruit, obviously spices.
Nice complexity.
Quite integrated, dense, youthful tannins, must compact the elements further, somewhat resembles 2008, but more austere.
