Poggio al Tesoro

The “Bolgheri dream” belonged to Walter Allegrini, who from Valpolicella wanted to invest in this very corner of Tuscany, and it was brought to fruition by his sister Marilisa. An estate of 70 hectares, with 4 different plots, two along the Via Bolgherese; the largest in Le Sondraie, very close to the sea; and the fourth in the municipality of Bibbona. In the sandier soils rich in skeleton, Cabernet and Petit Verdot were planted to express concentration and power; in the clay and mineral-rich soils, Merlot was planted for elegance and fragrance.
