100% Sangiovese. Intense garnet ruby. More evolved nose, ripe, slightly jammy fruit, with notes of wild strawberry, currants, spices and some fairly obvious woody hints. Savory and warm on the palate, where the flavor profile appears composed and the body is firm. Slightly more evident tannins than in other versions and character probably resulting from a rather warm harvest season.
