Syrah and Petit Verdot.
22 months in first- and second-passage French oak tonneaux.
Very good vintage, more balanced, less hot.
The ruby red color is less dark and still has some violet notes, due to the malvidin of the Petit Verdot.
On the nose the spice returns, pepper, accompanied by black currant and some ethereal notes of fruit distillate, maraschino, kirsch.
The flavor is enveloping, the tannin is velvety, the development is very balanced, savory, rich, the finish of red fruit.
A complete and complex wine.
