Ruggeri

Giustino Bisol and his cousin Luciano Ruggeri founded the Ruggeri winery in 1950, starting the production of sparkling wines from vineyards in the hamlets of Santo Stefano, San Pietro di Barbozza and Saccol. In Chartice or Gardizze, as the present-day Cartizze area was called in ancient times, the Bisols were already cultivating vines since 1542, as reflected in census records, playing a central role in this cru today. Since 2019, the company has adhered to the SQPNI Protocol, which promotes more responsible vineyard management by reducing the use of chemicals. The company is currently run by Paolo Bisol with his children Giustino and Isabella.
