100% Pinot Nero. It matures 18 to 24 months in French barriques, followed by 12 months of aging in the bottle. Nice ruby color, particularly dark, tending toward brick. The nose smells of ripe cherry, underbrush, dried flowers and a very special note that reminded me of pickled anchovies. The mouth is consistent, with good thickness, good persistence and elegance, with dense and fine tannins. Fresh sip, albeit with high alcohol content and despite being 12 years old, shows no signs of letting up. It goes away with great pleasure and composure. Final note of merit: it is really cheap.
