Nicosia

The Nicosia family has been making wine for five generations in different areas of Sicily, particularly Vittoria in Ragusa and Etna. It is precisely on the Volcano that significant progress is being made in recent years with production increasingly focused on terroir and quality and with the sparkling wine sector beginning to become interesting.Vineyards are located mainly on the southeastern and eastern slopes, some in valuable districts such as Monte Gorna, Monte San Nicolò and Ronzini, all in the municipality of Trecastagni. Today’s production philosophy sees a great focus on environmental sustainability and respect for nature.
