Monteverro

We are at the foot of Capalbio, in the southern Maremma. Georg Weber’s winery shows no signs of wanting to relax and indeed continues indefatigably its exploration of the Maremma terroir with lots of micro-parcel harvests, natural fermentation, separate vinifications, experiments in new containers. The characteristic stony red clay soils and the close distance from the sea give the wines a special recognizability.
