Mamete Prevostini
DESCRIPTION
Mamete Prevostini began making high-quality wines in the early 1990s. His grandparents made bulk wine as early as the 1930s for their tavern, Crotasc, now a restaurant run by his sister Michela. The historic winery in Mese has been joined since 2013 by a new production cellar in Postalesio, which has received CasaClima Wine certification for environmental compatibility. In 2018 he bought the Convento San Lorenzo, above Sondrio, which has the only vineyard in Valtellina guarded by ancient walls, dedicating a new winery to it.
