DESCRIPTION
Large, historic and fundamental company for the Langhe area. Today it is owned by Oscar Farinetti, Mr. Eataly, and his family. It was famous estate of King Victor Emmanuel II, who gave it to the Bella Rosin, Rosa Vercellana, his morganatic wife. From this comes the toponym for Barolo Vigna La Rosa, the historic cru. The wines are typically serralunghesian, full-bodied and long-lived.
