Duca di Salaparuta

Large winery headquartered in Casteldaccia, 20 kilometers east of Palermo, but producing wines from its own grapes and those of growers in different areas throughout Sicily. Known for the Corvo label, found on the most classic and highest-volume labels, it is credited with having first made a great wine from only Nero d’Avola grapes, Duca Enrico, which was first produced with the 1984 vintage and is still an emblem of style today.
