Casa Setaro
DESCRIPTION
In the small town of Trecase, on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius and its National Park, Casa Setaro is a virtuous example of how a small family winery can get to produce quality territorial wines. Massimo Setaro, the winery’s current owner, is credited with recovering the ancient white Caprettone grape variety, planted free-range and raised with other grape varieties using the ancient Vesuvian pergola system. Vines grow in lava soil rich in potassium and trace elements, composed of lapilli and sand.
