Rainy winter, with rainfall even in May and August. Dry end of season for an excellent harvest.
80% Sangiovese, 20% between Cabernet Sauvignon and Colorino. Matures in barrels 18-24 months.
Well-kept color. Intriguing nose, with perceptible fruit (cherry, blueberry, plum) barely citrusy, then rhubarb, tea and distinctive iodine notes. Medium body, vibrant tannin, excellent flavor and a nice progression.
