Warm spring, very sunny summer with no rain but not too hot. Slightly early harvest.
80% Sangiovese, 20% between Cabernet Sauvignon and Colorino. Matures in tonneau 18 months.
Very intense ruby. Enveloping and ethereal on the nose, with notes of black cherries in spirit, cocoa, sweet spices and slight flint. Full and powerful flavor, full-bodied, warm, rich, with dense but velvety tannins and formidable persistence.
