100% Nebbiolo, from the top of the Pajé amphitheater. After 8 years in barrel and 10 years in cement on fine lees, it is unrealistically bright red in color. The aromas have remarkable intensity and are of unique complexity, a rainbow of sensations from which it is difficult to discern all the nuances: from wild strawberry jelly to currant compote, from sweet tobacco to cocoa to goudron, with a suffused balsamicity of great charm and a mobility in the glass, with oxygenation, to be astounded. The mouth is mighty rather than powerful, voluminous, with solemn impact. Infinite length.
Produced in only 350 bottles.
PS: It was blindly compared with 4 Chambertins from supreme Burgundy producers of the same vintage and it … placed very well.
