Badia di Morrona
DESCRIPTION
Badia di Morrona is an estate of considerable size and beauty (about 550 hectares in total, of which one hundred are planted with vines and about forty with olive trees), located between Pisa and Volterra, with the ancient first Benedictine and then Camaldolese complex inside. For the past few years, Filippo Gaslini Alberti has taken over the running of the winery from his father, and the change of pace can be seen especially in the better definition of the fruit in the wines, aided by greater attention in the vineyard and the completion of the cellar. Also completed is the modern oil mill, which adds another piece to quality production.
