A naming that refers to the main dish of the proposal – chicken – and its genuineness, also drawing inspiration from the famous Rugantino, an undisputed symbol of Roman-ness. Thus comes to life Ruspantino -Spiedo e Cucina, a new opening based in the Centocelle neighborhood at 161 Tor de’ Schiavi Street, born from the idea of young Founder Davide Di Leo with the aim of changing the concept of rotisserie through a new gastronomic proposal that encompasses quality and tradition.

Ruspantino aims to be a takeaway and delivery experience, with the idea that good food is brought to the streets, homes and among people, to characterize quick lunches, dinners with friends and events of all kinds, through a curated and efficient service in line with the trends of major international cities. As they say among the people, chicken “there are those who are and those who make it,” and at Ruspantino’s they make it, rotisserie style, to be eaten even with the hands (as cleared by etiquette) and accompanied by the ever-present baked potatoes or side dishes to suit all tastes. And it’s not just any chicken….
Ruspantino’s is strictly free-range chicken raised in accordance with natural growth rhythms, without antibiotics, hand-spiced and cooked at a low temperature, for a result that is truly
healthy and tasty.
And for those who prefer something else? Ruspantino offers “like at home” dishes including parmigiana, lasagna, meatballs, and a wide selection of rotisserie ranging from artisanal supplì to express fritti and other chicken specialties.
