Nice appetizer that can be prepared in no time and that we love to accompany with Rosato di Toscana 2023 Fattoria Svetoni.
Ingredients for 4 persons:
1 package of sandwich bread (look for long slices, preferably with olive oil), 300 g sliced mortadella, 300 g spreadable cheese, pistachio granola
Directions:
With the help of a rolling pin, lightly flatten the bread slices, spread the spreadable cheese over the entire surface and place the mortadella, leaving a 2-cm portion free on the short side of the sandwich: in this way, after rolling it up, the cheese will make the two sides adhere while keeping the roll closed.
Roll the slice toward the long direction and, once a tightly packed cylinder is obtained, cut out 4 bites.
Spread a little cheese on the top of the morsels and dip them in pistachio granules to decorate and give a little crunch.

Rosé color with bright highlights.
Intense aroma, with notes of rose and white violet, fruity nuances.
The palate is fresh, full, soft and savory.
Good structure and persistence.
Production area: Montepulciano, in the Gracciano area, vineyards on clay and silt-sandy soils, fresh and rich in minerals.Grape varieties: 100% Sangiovese with spurred cordon training system.
Planting density is about 4000-5000 vines per hectare and grape yield about 80 q.li/hectare.
Production processes: The integrity of the clusters at the time of pressing is safeguarded using traditional manual and mechanical techniques.
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel vats at 16-18°C.
It does not undergo malolactic fermentation.
Maturation in steel vats.
