Right in the center of Rome is the pizzeria-restaurant Emma, an establishment that satisfies everyone (even those who don’t want to eat pizza) and offers an impressive wine list in terms of quality and quantity. Vignadelmar has been there.
In Rome, behind the beautiful monuments of Piazza di Largo Argentina, on Via del Monte della Farina, you will find one of the best pizzerias in Rome. But to call it generically a pizzeria would be a mistake. It is also restaurant and pork butchery. But what interests us most is that it boasts a impressive wine list for quality and quantity. It has more than 1,000 wine labels, then Italian and foreign beers and also a large selection of fine spirits.
Roman-style pizzas of great quality

We tried some fried foods from the Roman tradition really good and well made, however, the supplì were improvable. And then the six pizzas, which, kindly, at our request, were brought to us all different and two at a time, already cut into wedges so that each of us could taste them all. What to say except that they were beautiful and delicious?
They were of the “Roman-style” type, that is, low and crunchy, seasoned with sometimes daring combinations but still with quality raw materials. Devoured one after another and each time they seemed to taste better and better. Note that although richly seasoned, each slice held the weight of the seasoning very well. One of us asked for a Fassona Tartarre and was told it was very good. Finally, the various desserts, which, when possible, they also brought us with some variations requested at the time.
Efficient and excellent service

I definitely need to spend some time to tell you about the quality andefficiency of the service. Although the room was full, without batting an eyelid, we were changed drinking glasses four times (three wines and one Belgian beer), served the pizzas in rotation and also the different appetizers and desserts. Always helpful and smiling. Really congratulations, also for the quality and diversity of the glasses used.
It is possible to eat outside even in winter, but we, fortunately, were seated inside, in a beautiful and brightly lit modernly furnished room. Next door they also have a rich corporate shop, where you can buy many of the things you will have enjoyed.
We will return, perhaps to try the cuisine in the round as well, but what we have tried and seen is enough for us to exclaim with certainty that we have been to one of the best establishments in town.
