Simply the best: Civiltà del bere’s wine tasting dedicated to the most critically acclaimed wineries returns to Milan on Monday, March 10, 2025
Italy’s most celebrated labels within a glass’s reach. Simply the best brings together the top names in national oenology in a walk-around tasting open to the public, designed for professionals and lovers of fine drinking.
The seventh edition will take place in Milan on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Sala Polene.
Masterclass and walk-around tasting: the program
The long-awaited wine tasting of the most critically acclaimed wineries returns to Milan. Each winery at the tasting tables will present three labels.
The selection of Simply the best 2025 aims at the top of Italian oenology. To be counted among the exhibitors, Wineries must meet a very exclusive requirement: having received at least three excellences (the highest score) for one or more wines, considering the ratings of the leading Italian Wine Guides 2025, compared in Top of the Best 2025 (gems from Ais Vitae, five bunches from Bibenda, faccini from Doctor Wine, three glasses from Gambero Rosso, top wines from Slow Wine, super three stars/sole/best tasting from Veronelli), and the results of the last edition of WOW! The Italian Wine Competition (golds and special WOW! awards count as excellence).
Useful information
Admission from 3 to 5 p.m. is reserved for press, professionals and subscribers to Civilization of Drinking, while from 5 to 9 p.m. it is also open to the general public of enthusiasts (with access closing at 8 p.m.).
