Capezzana

On the northern border of Carmignano stands the Capezzana estate of the Contini Bonacossi family, great collectors of antiques, authors among other things of a major donation to the Uffizi Gallery. A penchant for collecting is also found in the winery, which can boast a collection of historic vintages since 1925 thanks to the meticulous work of the late Count Ugo, who transformed the historic estate into a modern winery. Today, after the untimely death of Vittorio Contini Bonacossi, the company is entirely run by sisters Beatrice and Benedetta.
