PRESS RELEASE – The milestone will be celebrated in two stages together with many great protagonists of Italian wine production and the vast audience that has always followed Daniele Cernilli and DoctorWine: in MILAN (Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at the Hotel Principe di Savoia, h. 14:30-19:30) and ROME (Oct. 8 at Eur – Spazio 900, h. 15:30-19:00).

Today the Essential Guide is one of the most authoritative in the Italian wine scene, among the most eagerly awaited by the vast audience of enthusiasts, the producers themselves and the growing number of restaurant and wine shop managers who find it an excellent tool for selecting labels to include in their assortments.

We are very happy to celebrate this fine milestone with all those who have always appreciated our work and shared our journey ,” says Cernilli. These 10 years have brought significant transformations in the world of communication and in the wine world, and our guide has also evolved while remaining
faithful to its core philosophy: that of essentiality.
. This volume is not a collection of thousands of wineries, but a selection of the ones we consider to be the best (in this edition 1254) and which will be offering fine wines on the markets in the coming months: which means that already the very fact of being selected to be part of the chosen thousand wineries is quite an accomplishment. It should also be said that the average quality of Italian production is continually increasing, making the work of selectors increasingly difficult and perhaps, for that very reason, increasingly useful
.”

The two highly anticipated happening presentation of the Guide-which comes with a new cover and interior graphics-will feature a moment of awarding producers who have made the history of Italian wine and represent its future, and later by a large tasting booth which will give the public a chance to taste the greatest wines from all over Italy. Master classes and seminars will also be available during the Milan event (detailed schedule will be available soon at www.doctorwine.it).
