The portal dedicated to tourism promoted by the Consorzio Tutela Morellino di Scansano is back. New graphics, more content and a fun merchandising section. Dedicated app soon available on major digital stores.
Simple, clear and immediate, with a completely revamped catalog of proposals and the debut of the merchandising section. These are some of the new features present in the version of the VisitMorellino portal, which has been online for a few days and has now been implemented in its structure and graphics.
Launched in 2021 and promoted by the Consorzio di Tutela del Morellino di Scansano, VisitMorellino is a virtual space that allows people to discover how to experience the territory of the denomination in an immersive and complete way among the beauty of its villages and its landscape, suspended between the sea of the Tuscan coast and the slopes of Mount Amiata.
The portal thus becomes a reference point for wine tourists and lovers of the outdoors, with a special focus on the combination that links wine, sports, tourism and wellness. VisitMorellino offers, in fact, the possibility of organizing one’s tailor-made stay in the Morellino di Scansano area by choosing among the many activities available – Wine Experience, Spa & Wellness, nature itineraries by bike, e-bike and on horseback or even sea-related experiences such as Surfing, Kayaking, Paddle Board and Snorkeling – made possible thanks to partnerships with the main players in the area such as: Saturnia Bike, Terme di Saturnia, Parco della Maremma, Movimento Turismo del Vino, Centro Porsche Firenze, 4 Tempi, Acquedotto del Fiora, Maremma Sup Avventura, Maremma 4 Style and Coravin.
“The restyling work,” explains Alessio Durazzi, director of the Consortium, “has made the navigation of VisitMorellino much faster and more dynamic, succeeding with greater ease in making the peculiarities of our territory and our appellation understood by the many visitors who intend to spend a vacation in the lands of Morellino di Scansano. We are fortunate to find ourselves immersed in an unspoiled environment, ideal for those seeking tourism in close contact with nature. Lovers of wellness, good food and wine, sports and nature have an ideal tool to create for themselves an ad hoc itinerary under the banner of sustainability.”
From a strictly technical point of view, the most important innovation of this latest version concerns mobility and direct interaction with tourists who will buy the solutions in total autonomy. In addition, a dedicated app will soon be available in the main online stores. VisitMorellino in addition to having a simpler and more intuitive interface, which immediately brings to the fore the extraordinary beauty of the area, and a new organization of content to make navigation even more user friendly, has also been enriched with the merchandising section within the e-shop area. From now on, in fact, users, in addition to wines from the wineries of the Morellino di Scansano DOCG appellation and many useful accessories, will also be able to buy sweatshirts, jackets, polo shirts, aprons, shoppers and many other products sold under the Rosso Morellino brand, named after the in-house event organized in Scansano by the Consortium, which this year will take place on May 15.
