Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Preview: February 02 to 03, 2025 the great event to taste Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2022 and Riserva 2021 returns
The event
Ready to make a comeback for Italy’s first Docg, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and it will do so Feb. 2 to 3 with the 31st edition of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Preview .
It will be possible to taste the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2022, the vintage ready to be put on the market after the two years of evolution imposed by the production regulations, and the Riserva 2021, as well as the other wines produced in the area including the two Doc wines, Rosso di Montepulciano and Vin Santo di Montepulciano. The Preview will take place inside the Fortress of Montepulciano, just a few steps from Piazza Grande, and will be the ideal pretext to discover an enchanting village full of surprises for those who have not yet had the opportunity to get to know this part of Tuscany, and a reasonable excuse for those who know these places and always return with the same enthusiasm. The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Preview is part of the Week of “Previews of Tuscany,” the event promoted by the Region of Tuscany with the Florence Chamber of Commerce, PromoFirenze and Fondazione Sistema Toscana.
The program
Sunday, Feb. 2 (reserved for Ho.Re.Ca. operators, sales agents and wine lovers)
- 11 a.m.-7 p.m.: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano tasting booth with wineries
Monday, Feb. 3 (reserved for Ho.Re.Ca. operators, sales agents and wine lovers)
- 11 a.m.-7 p.m.: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano tasting booth with wineries
- 3 p.m.: presentation seminar “Le Pievi del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano” by Adua Villa
The Preview program then will resume on Feb. 15 and 16 exclusively for the accredited press with the proclamation of the stars (the rating to the vintage with a rating from 1 to 5 stars) for the 2022 vintage on the market from this year.
