The Serego Alighieri estates are located in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, surrounded by green hills and just a few kilometers from the historic center of Verona and the beauty of Lake Garda.
Since 1973, Serego Alighieri has been among the estates of great historical and viticultural value in the Masi Group’s fold.
Today the property opens to visitors to reveal the soul of Valpolicella and its historical memory.
This enchanting estate nestled in the hills of Valpolicella was purchased by Pietro Alighieri, son of Dante, back in 1353 and was already renowned for the excellence of its vineyards.
At first the dwelling was more of a large farmhouse than a villa. From the mid-1600s it was gradually transformed into today’s magnificent mansion, where the descendants of the Supreme Poet, now in their twenty-first generation, still reside.
Today the property reveals to visitors the soul of Valpolicella and its historical memory.
In the cellars they still work cherry barrels. Along with the more common oak ones, bearing witness to a custom of the past that is still appreciated today for the exquisite aromas it imparts to the wine.In addition to visiting the cellar and historic fruit cellar, at the Rivendita guests have the full range of Serego Alighieri and Masiwines available for tasting and discovering how best to pair them with typical local dishes. 
Rising from the expert renovation of the Villa’s ancient cottages, the Foresteria has eight apartments in the traditional stately country style where you can stay surrounded by the vineyard and nature.In warm weather, the rich breakfast – which includes jams from the estate – is served in the garden overlooking the Villa’s park.
It is always a pleasure to take a stroll through the park, with its shady nooks and crannies, more secluded areas, majestic trees, and paths winding through meadows and vineyards.
