Cooler than average vintage.
Violet over garnet notes prevail in color.
Intense nose, very spicy, predominantly black pepper, bitter cocoa and just a touch of black currants and blackberries.
On the palate tannins more evident than previous vintages, but thick and velvety.
Nice elegant finish.
