He joined Gruppo Italiano Vini in 2001 to be in charge of the winemaking and ageing of the Group’s Veneto wineries, achieving important quality recognitions, and since 2004 he has also been in charge of the winemaking side of the Tuscan wineries Melini and La Selvanella. In 2007 he was given the role of Group Enological Coordination, which also saw him expand activities at Formentini in Collio Friulano, Castello Monaci in Salento and Rapitalà in Sicily.

In 2010 came the most prestigious appointment as Director of Enology and Production for the entire Group, which he held simultaneously with other responsible roles: he was placed in charge of Bolla di Pedemonte until 2015 and was appointed CEO of the Group’s southern wineries: the Salento-based Castello Monaci, Tenute Rapitalà in Sicily and Director of Re Manfredi in Basilicata. Christian Scrinzi is also president of Aziende Agricole GIV and Viticola GIV, companies related to and supporting Gruppo Italiano Vini.

Scrinzi’s appointment represents an important stage in a broader journey of internal managerial development and structuring, a stage that includes other professional paths, which will continue to evolve in the coming months.

The Collis Group was the subject of one of the most important financial transactions in the industry that took place in late 2023, which saw a merger by incorporation with Sartori di Verona and Cantine Riondo resulting in Collis Heritage.
