Cantine Colosi
DESCRIPTION
Managed by Piero Colosi, an exponent of the fourth generation, with the collaboration of his father Pietro, Cantine Colosi is divided between the mainland, with the production cellar, and the island of Salina, where the vineyards, mostly of Malvasia delle Lipari, are located in Gramignazzi, a particularly suitable volcanic territory. Here, since 2004, stands the new wine-making cellar, underground, to comply with the strict regulations that protect the Aeolian territory. For the past few years, several hectares of vineyards in central Sicily have been leased, from which Nero d’Avola is derived.
