Winery Bolzano / Kellerei Bozen

It is one of South Tyrolʼs most important wineries in terms of history and wine quality, established in 2001 through the merger of the Gries (founded in 1908) and St. Magdalena (1930) wineries. This historic winery, run since 1988 by Stephan Filippi, is proud custodian of the Bolzano areaʼs traditional wine production, and thus Lagrein, declined in different versions, and Santa Maddalena with the now mythical Huck am Bach at the head, a true eponym of the type. There is of course no shortage of whites, Sauvignon in the lead.
