We are in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Barolo region, where Vietti has been making wine for well over a century. The different Barolo and Barbaresco crus are interpreted in an elegantly modern style, with strict respect for the characteristics of the various vineyards. The sale of the property, which passed to the Krause family in 2016, did not involve any traumas, and the company’s production philosophy continues in the groove laid out by the Vietti-Currado family. Today the estate vineyards include some of the finest terroirs in the best wine-growing areas of Piedmont.
