DESCRIPTION
We are in the Côte des Bar, in the Aube department. We are talking about the largest wine-growing commune in Champagne where, the only example, three appellations meet: Champagne, Coteaux-Champenois and Rosé des Riceys. This territory for centuries was part of neighboring Burgundy, always disputed between the two regions and only saw Champagne “win” in 1927. Here the Burgundian tradition blends with the microclimate of southern Champagne and its sauvage spirit, as the French put it.
