Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in secret percentages. Aged 8 years on the lees. Gold in the goblet, with very fine perlage. The olfactory impact is very intense and varied, juggling brackish perceptions of oysters and limestone, then fresh almond, candied yellow citrus, loaf bread and powdered sugar, amid gentle toasted hints. The mouthfeel is dense and creamy, textured and savory, with a definite toasty, round licorice finish that is really long and satisfying.
